Restoring Reliable Electrical Service After Storm Damage

About this Project

Large-Scale Recreational Facility

The Challenge

Following storm damage, an outdoor electrical service had to be removed and replaced to restore a safe, reliable power connection to the property. The existing aerial service was no longer a viable option, requiring a new approach to the site’s electrical service.

The Solution

Our team removed the damaged aerial electrical service and installed a new 200-amp, single-phase electrical service.

To provide the new underground connection, we used a trencher to create the necessary pathway for the electrical service. Our team then connected the new service to the existing PECO utility infrastructure using a 55-foot maximum-reach bucket truck, allowing us to safely access the service connection point.

The project required coordination of underground installation, utility connection, and specialized equipment to complete the service replacement efficiently.

The Result

The damaged aerial service was replaced with a new 200-amp underground electrical service, providing the property with a new electrical connection following the storm damage.
